Popis: Renal adenocarcinoma is a disease with protean manifestations involving approximately 15000 individuals in the United States annually. The incidence doubled in males and slightly increased in females over the period from 1930 to 1967. Currently, about 5000–7000 patients die of this disease annually. The incidence of renal adenocarcinoma increases steadily after the age of 30. In men, the tumor is most prevalent in the sixth decade and in women, in the seventh decade. The average age at the time of diagnosis is 57 years. It is rarely found in children, having been reported somewhat less than 100 times in infancy and childhood.
