Popis:	Congenital afibrinogenaemia and hypofibrinogenaemia are rare disorders of haemostasis. In this case report the problems posed in the management of two patients with fibrinogen levels less than 0.1g L(-1) and who developed intracranial bleeding are considered. The value of fibrinogen concentrate and the role of prophylaxis is also discussed.
