In this paper a model-based method for estimating the damper excitations and velocity amplitudes by means of synthetic road irregularities are shown. They are based on a stationary white noise process with power density 1. With two 1st order filters it is possible to generate realistic synthetic road irregularities which are limited to an adequate magnitude level for both, small frequencies and higher frequencies. |
