Structure and low temperature properties of copolymers of cis-1,4-butadiene and isoprene

Popis: The glass transition and phase transition temperatures, the kinetics of crystallization and the dynamic mechanical properties of SKD, SKI and cis -1,4-butadiene copolymers with isoprene of different composition obtained on rare earth catalysts have been studied. SKD has the most regular structure and SKI contains a certain number of 3,4-units. The high content of cis -1,4-units in the copolymer ensures a high level of the mechanical properties and the introduction of isoprene units helps to improve the cold resistance.
