Single-crystal EPR spectra of the high-spin [Co(TMC)(CH3CN))](ClO2)2 complex

Popis: A single-crystal EPR study of [Co(TMC)(CH3CH)](ClO4)2 is reported. The observed g values are highly anisotropic: g1 = 7.1(2), g2 = 2.1(2), g3 = 1.4(2). The angular-overlap model allowed an effective rationalization of the data indicating that the g-tensor pattern is mainly determined by the in-plane σ interaction of the tetraaza macrocyclic ligand.
