Popis:	With the start of this century, Mendel’s laws were rediscovered and modern genetics began its spectacular development. The problem annoying Darwin that the laws of inheritance were unknown was thus resolved. Logic would seem to dictate that Darwin’s theory and Mendelian genetics be immediately integrated and that a theory of evolutionary mechanism based on genetics develop smoothly right away. However, the actual situation was quite different from expectation and full of vicissitudes.
