The Tools of Mechanics by E. Cartan and Classical Field Theory

Popis: Geometric methods are now widely used in both classical and quantum field models. Cartan mechanics have been successfully used in special and general relativity, including cosmology. This article discusses the application of E. Cartan's mechanics in classical field theory. Wherein, it often allows additional information about the system to be taken into account in a uniform manner. In particular, the Lorentz condition in the case of a vecton. Classical field theory, the mathematical apparatus of which, in contrast to quantum field theory, can be considered fully developed.
