Popis: | Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) based applications that give smart capabilities to homes, warehouses, factories, farms, power grids, are becoming more popular than ever. In this short paper we presenting a series of hardware and software solutions integrated into a novel infrastructure that gives smart capabilities to a more unusual target – a NATO role 2E mobile military hospital. Our work is motivated by our own analysis of such a medical facility deployed for a training exercise. In addition to traditional logistics problems, several specific requirements have been defined in order to help motivate and define our complex WSN based infrastructure. The proposed solutions are based on off-the-shelf hardware components and freely available supported software components. |
