Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithms and power conditioning units (dc-dc converters) play a vital role in solar PV systems for their efficient and economic operations. A comparison and performance analysis of solar PV system with Two phase interleaved boost converter and P&O based MPPT algorithms is presented in this paper. A comprehensive simulation study is carried for various operating conditions in MATLAB and results are acquired. The obtained results are presented and thoroughly discussed in terms of tracking performance, ripple at the input and output of the converter. |
