Popis: | Significance of the problem. Epilepsy is one of the most widely spread diseases of nerve system and it is an important medical-social problem. The spread of epilepsy in a population is 1%, and 25-40% of the patients are women of the fertile age [1, 7]. It is supposed that, women with epilepsy more often have pregnancy toxicosis, pre-term or late delivery [3, 8]. The question of the impact of attacks and anti-epileptic drugs to fetus and the state of a new-born baby is closely interrelated with the progress of pregnancy and birth in the patients with epilepsy. According to the literary data, the frequency of asphyxia in children born by epileptic patients is significantly higher in comparison with population [4]. Decrease of Apgar scale values, new-born babies body weight less than 2500 gram, abnormalities and defects of development are registered more often [2,]. At the same time, perinatal lethality exceeds average statistic values [6]. Besides that, the risk of bleedings at the birth and new-born hemorrhagic syndrome is also high, due to intake of anti-epileptic drugs effecting the level of blood coagulation factors by means of hepatic enzymes induction [4]. |
