Summary In recent years, attention has been focused on the use of vertical seismic profiling (VSP) in the processing and interpretation of 2D/3D surface seismic data. One of the tasks is to assess the quality of data processing. Traditionally, the evaluation of the quality of processing, binding, reflection, and phase shift in seismic acquisition 2D/3D are performed by comparison with synthetic traces calculated with the momentum extracted from the CDP data. Such estimation may not correspond to reality, especially when using synthetic data of acoustic and density logging. The solution to these problems with the use of VSP provides a more accurate result. |
