| Popis: | Presentation of Case A 16-year-old girl was admitted to the hospital because of pleuritic chest pain. Bilateral imbrication of the hip capsules had been performed 15 months earlier at this hospital because of recurrent bouts of hip dislocation. Evaluation at that time showed a positive test for antinuclear antibodies, at a titer of 1:2560 with a homogeneous pattern; tests for anti-Ro and anti-La antibodies were negative, and a test for anti–double-stranded DNA antibodies was also negative, at 1:10.
