Popis:	SUMMARY Ammonia concentration between 10–300 μM in 75% seawater in which Amphidinium carterae Hulb, was allowed to photosynthesize caused an increased rate of photosynthesis. In addition, these same concentrations caused the dinoflagellate to release to the medium up to 50% of the carbon fixed during the 30 min period of photosynthesis used in the experiments.
