Portable Wireless Multipurpose Signal Viewer, Analyzer and Generator Using ATMEGA328P MCU and Android

Popis: The conventional oscilloscopes and signal generators are bulky and expensive. What we propose is a cheap portable alternative to this using the ATMEGA328P micro controller and Android. The idea is to detect the signals using the analog to digital converters in the micro controller and transmit them over to an android device over Blue Tooth, which views the waveform using the developed application. The micro controller also produces signals using digital to analog converters in it, after receiving the corresponding commands from the above mentioned application. The prototype implemented can sense and generate signals up to a maximum voltage of 5 volts. The proposed solution can serve as a pocket sized and affordable substitute to existing oscilloscopes and signal generators for almost all applications, where high accuracy is not mandatory.
