| Popis: | Treatment of copper–gold concentrates using hydrometallurgical methods is beginning to make inroads into the traditional field of smelting in selected circumstances. A range of low temperature and atmospheric processes all the way to high temperature and pressure processes have been developed in the sulfate and chloride systems to treat these mineral concentrates. A number of commercial installations have arisen along with numerous pilot plant tests. The state-of-the-art development of the treatment of copper–gold concentrates using hydrometallurgical methods is reviewed. |
