Popis: | Experimental and theoretical investigations of yarn-object interactions are presented in this paper. The behavior of the yarn—tensioning and drop off—is studied, taking into account several factors such as yarn length, yarn tension, object speed, object orientation. and object profile. A comparison of theoretical predictions and experimental measure ments for different yams indicates good agreement. The theoretical model can be used to optimize the object profile in order to reduce interactive yarn tension. |
