Popis: On the basis of hydraulic models of the vascular bed, the possibility of quantitatively estimating the resistances, inertia coefficients and compliances of model elements, as well as the changes in these parameters, from the hydraulic input impedance is evaluated. It is shown that the input impedance method makes it possible to find stable estimates for the hydraulic model parameters using the least squares method. No significant differences between the parameters of hydraulic models of the vascular bed calculated by the input impedance method and measured independently were found. The possibility of using the input impedance method to estimate the arterial response of an organ is discussed.
