Popis: | The improvement of sports has always been coupled with the advancement of technology equipment. Technology is transforming our experience and interaction with modern sporting events and with venues that host them. It has an impact on all sports fields. It is deployed on the field for improving broadcast and media services and for refining the crucial decisions taken by referees. Moreover, technology is being adopted to help athletes enhance their sports performance and skills. This is accomplished through performance analysis software, field sensors, timing devices, video and motion replay cameras. In this paper, we discuss the implementation of a video analysis system that would serve to track squash players and consequently give them the opportunity to analyze their performances and investigate possible areas of play improvement. This system is built based on image and video processing methods. It uses GoPro camera to record squash matches and an image processing based software to locate and track the players then illustrate their trajectory throughout a game. |
