Popis: | The impression of a social robot changes with long-term use due to novelty and familiarity effects. In this study, a psychological scale of the long-term change in impression of social robots was created through a long-term experiment focusing on characteristics and toolness of a social robot. Another long-term experiment using the created scale was performed to measure and compare changes in long-term impressions of Kiropi v2, RoBoHoN, and iPad. The results showed that scores corresponding to characteristics and toolness of the impression basically improved with each use. In addition, some impressions showed nonlinear changes due to novelty and familiarity effects. The results also showed differences between the robots, indicating that the impression of Kiropi v2 was the best. |
