Popis: | 1. Dynamic destructions on the mining periphery occur as a result of a high level of stresses acting in the rock mass. 2. Quantitative estimates of the principal stresses can be obtained on the basis of the size of the destroyed areas. 3. The orientation of destroyed areas on the mining periphery is directly connected with the direction of the principal stresses. 4. Analysis of dynamic destructions in two groups of workings with perpendicular orientations allows one to determine the orientation of principal stress in the rock mass for the entire deposit. 5. The results of the stress measurements by unloading are confirmed by analysis of dynamic destruction in workings both in terms of direction of action of the principal stresses and by their numeric values. 6. For lowering the hazard of dynamic destruction, workings should be mainly positioned transversely with their course coinciding with the maximal principal stress. 7. The longitudinal cross section of the workings should have a domelike shape with the dome height being equal to one third of the working width. |
