New approaches in street lighting maintenance: The case of Natal, Brazil

Popis:	This work suggests a model of an efficient street lighting management system and presents a financial study for a project of renovation of the street lightings in East Zone of Natal/RN, Brazil, using LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps. First of all, the literature is researched to show briefly some lighting components. Concepts of inspection, maintenance, planning and control will be presented. After that, the current lighting system and its service conditions in the city will be evaluated.
