Magnetoresistance anomalies at low temperature in a ferromagnetic natural multilayer, Er0.2Sm0.8Mn6Ge6

Popis:	In this paper, we present our recent experimental results of magnetoresistance (MR) and heat capacity (c) measurements on a naturally occurring multiplayer Er0.2Sm0.8Mn6Ge6, which is ferromagnetic below 441 K. The results indicate that the magnitude of MR is positive below 45 K and gradually increase to a relatively large value of about 5.89% at 5 K in a field of 50 kOe as the temperature is lowered. The positive sign of MR for a ferromagnet is unexpected and possible explanations are offered.
