Popis:	William V. D'Antonio and Steven A. Tuch's "Voting in Professional Associa tions: The Case of the American Sociological Association Revisited" (TAS, 1991 Vol. 22 No. 1, pages 37-48) bemoans low voter turnout for ASA elections and finds no support for an investment model of such voting. In the first instance they are myopic, and thus, overly pessimistic. In the second instance they make a crucial mistake. There is support for an investment model, but investment has been misspecified.
