Popis: | Hard amorphous DLC films were deposited onto ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and metallic substrates (Ti, Co–Cr–Mo, stainless steel 138F) used as biomaterials by pulsed arc discharge using a carbon source accelerator in 2×10−4 Pa vacuum. DLC films were analyzed by Auger electron spectroscopy, electron energy loss spectroscopy, nanoindentation, scratch test and Rockwell indentation. Dry friction coefficient of films deposited on UHMWPE and stainless steel were also investigated. The results obtained are discussed with literature data. |
