Popis: The team of Omsk ethno-archaeologists has been conducting prediscovery research to work out the theory and methodology of integration of archaeological and ethnological studies for fifteen years. The main idea of the project is to work out new complementary methods of data search and information analysis in the sciences mentioned. Working out new analysis tools is accomplished by theoretical development of the concept of ethno-archaeological complexes. Such fundamental research provides the opportunity to get new knowledge while studying ancient and traditional communities and to achieve high accuracy and veracity of historical reconstructions. In this paper some results and trends in the process of integration of archaeology and ethnography obtained by the Omsk ethno-archaeologists led by professor N.A. Tomilov in the late 20th — early 21st centuries are presented.
