Popis: Microwave filter are two-port network, reciprocal, passive, linear device which attenuate heavily the unwanted signalfrequencies while permitting transmission of wantedfrequencies. A novel low-pass filter using complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs) for transmission zero control and sharp-rejection is presented. Herethe stepped impedance low pass filter (LPF) has been designed with a 1.6 GHz cutoff frequency and 10 DB insertion loss at 3 GHz. The design has been performed using HFSS softwarethe size reduction design can be achieved by using square CSRR, which lead to improve the selectivity and flat group delay.
