Popis:	There is a risk that machines and essential systems onboard ship fail during ventilation failure. For combustion air supplied inside the machinery space, a sufficient air flow rate must be provided to maintain combustion in the event of a malfunction of the ventilation system. Ventilation of all machinery spaces should be sufficient under normal conditions to prevent the accumulation of oil vapor. Fans of the machinery spaces shall be provided with appropriate fire and smoke control devices which shall operate automatically when the inert gas fire extinguishing system is activated.
