| Popis: | As a group, the systemic vasculitides are surprisingly common in the elderly population. Although large vessel vasculitis such as temporal arteritis or giant cell arteritis, is a more common form, medium- and small vessel vasculitis are more frequently being recognized. Morbidity and mortality is higher in this group as compared to large vessel vasculitis. The clinical features, diagnosis, and management of this group are discussed based on presently available information. |
