The article gives analyses on modern scientific research in thefield of formation and development of informational-analytical competence in the theory and practice of pedagogical science. The attempts on correlation of the informational and analytical component in the structure of the investigated competence were determined on the basis of literary data analysis. Informational-analytical competence of the future Biology teacher is the combination of informational-analytical knowledge, skills, competences, experience of analytical activity and personal characteristics of specialist, that provides the possibilities for search, collection, and analyzing, critical evaluation, processing and transmitting information to realize professional function in the educational process. The analysis of modern approaches to future Biology teacher training allows us to define the following main functions in the educational process of secondary school: informational, creative,orientation, mobilization, constructive and communicative, organizational and research. All the functions are closely connected; they give additional meaning and specify each other. In our opinion, the realization of informative function takes up the leading place that in its turn is realized through the development of informational and analytical competence. |
