The isotopic composition of carbon in several recently deposited lacustrine sediments with high content of organic matter has been studied. The sediments investigated differ from each other by evolution levels of the initial biological mass, as well as, by the lithological composition and by oxidation-reduction environments the sedimentations took place in. The distribution of carbon isotopes in recent sediments is compared with that in the organic matter of similar oil-parent rocks of the West Siberia. It was shown in this study that the distribution of carbon isotopes in the organic matter of the rocks is determined by a mechanism of kerogens' formation, by the concentration of organic matter in the rocks and has a diverse character in humic (arkon), sapropelic (alin), and amikagin organic matters at the lithogenesis stages considered. |
