Popis: Ameloblastoma is a lesion of odontogenic origin, which mainly affects patients between the third and fifth decade of life. Although it is a benign tumor, it often presents with aggressive behavior. A 39-year-old female patient presented with pain complaints and increased volume in the right hemiface with a 1-year evolution. Computed tomography examination showed a large proportion, hypodense image, with well-defined limits affecting the body region, angle, and right mandibular branch. The patient underwent an incisional biopsy, and the diagnosis was ameloblastoma. The treatment consisted of partial resection with the margin of safety. The Risdon access, lesion location, tumor excision, and pre-cast reconstruction plaque to maintain the anatomy of the mandibular contour were performed. The surgical specimen was forwarded to histopathologic examination confirming the initial diagnosis. The patient is in follow-up.
