Farming in India is done using the routine ways in most of the places. Since most of our farmers lack in proper technical knowledge, state is even more erratic. Farming and agricultural activities are based on the predictions which may fail. Due to such uncertainties, farmers have to bear huge losses and sometimes they may end up life by committing suicide. Since we know the benefits of proper soil moisture and its quality, light intensity, humidity levels and temperature which are very important for the growth of crops and such parameters cannot be ignored. We propose new idea of Smart Crop Monitoring System implemented using Internet of Things for sensing environmental conditions and forwarding the data, Machine Learning to generate decisions for crop management based on the data, Cloud for storage and an Android application interface for operation of the system. We believe that our concept will be very useful in the agribusiness due to its reliability and remote monitoring. Smart Agro will be useful for farmers for planning and digitizing their agricultural activities. So, the farmers can check on the requirements of the crops and accurately predict their growth. This concept will surely accelerate their business to reach new heights and also be more profitable. The significance of this paper includes in Smart Agro are SMS notifications with the language preference, valuable information collection, detailed data analysis, cost effective, easy to implement, Automatic Motor Control And Automatic Greenhouse Lights Control. |
