THIS paper presents a series of tests conducted to study the effects of the herbicides, trifluralin and dinitramine, applied in various placement patterns and concentrations on cotton and soybean seedlings. Seed-ling germination, height, and green weight were re-corded for two chemical concentrations and several chemical placement patterns. The results indicate that the application of either chemical in any pattern previously shown to maximize weed control produced some crop injury. Some patterns and concentrations produced significantly higher injury to the crops. |
