Popis:	This paper describes a two-step design optimization applied to the integral-slot windings surface-mounted permanent-magnet (SPM) machines. It is a three-phase, 4-pole, 36-slot., 3.7 kW., and 2000 rpm SPM motor, as shown in Fig. 1.
