Popis: | To develop a new MMPI scale, an item analysis is performed comparing the MMPI response frequencies (number of "True" answers and number of "False" answers) of a criterion group with the response frequencies of a suitable comparison group. A set of computer programs is described which not only performs this item analysis, but also performs several additional tasks necessary for evaluation of a new MMPI scale. To avoid the laborious task of keypunching each subject's responses to all 566 MMPI items, the authors recommend the use of an MMPI answer sheet which is suitable for optical scanning and automated keypunching. |
