| Popis: | Family Hebridae Hebrus pusillus (Fall��n) On moist soil at the edges of shorelines of lakes and rivers, in wet mosses in wetlands, on the surface of quiet waters and on floating leaves of plants near the shore (Kanyukova 2006); hydrophilic, but not aquatic; zoophage (preys on small invertebrates); univoltine; imago overwinters on land. West Palearctic. Hebrus ruficeps Thomson On moist soil at the edges of shorelines of lakes and rivers, in wet mosses; hydrophilic, but not aquatic; zoophage (preys on small invertebrates); univoltine, with eggs deposited in the spring in the leaf axils of aquatic plants or in moss (Kanyukova 2006); imago overwinters on land.
