Popis: | The mechanical properties of two types of partially stabilized zirconia ceramics have been evaluated at temperatures up to 1000 C. Their flexural strength, fracture, and subcritical crack growth behavior are discussed with respect to the microstructure, phase composition, and failure origins. Aging studies were also conducted for up to 1000 h, and mechanical properties were examined along with the extent of tetragonal-to-monoclinic phase transformation. 17 references. |
