Popis: | Electrical resistivity measurements on Fe90Zr10 alloy (in the temperature range of 273–900 K) show temperature dependent semi-insulating, semi-metallic, metallic and metalloid diffusion transitions, just after the onset of Debye temperature (452 K). The metalloid diffusion transition is accompanied by a temperature dependent curved Arrhenius plot. Estimation of electron concentration, Debye temperature and other parameters of Fe90Zr10 alloy and validity of Fermi wave vector less than Debye wave vector confirms a twelve fold metallic bonding in liquid quenched amorphous (LQA) alloys. |
