The qualification thesis title: «The analysis of thermophilic microorganismsâ affection to the destruction of oil and its products»Since the oil-polluted soils in our country are mainly located at temperate and high latitude, the development of biopreparations for efficient elimination of oil pollution consequences under low temperature conditions remains the important task.The present study is aimed to the revealing and comparative analysis of thermophilic oil-degrading bacteria in the samples of oil-polluted soil taken at temperate latitude as well as the determination of bacterial strain, which is promising for design of biopreparations for eliminations of oil pollution at temperate and high latitude.The contribution of the thermophilic hydrocarbon-degrading bacteria to the oil destruction in soils of St. Petersburg is studied in present work by soil sampling and cultivation of bacteria, containing in the samples, followed by serial dilutions of analyzing samples and the growing of several test and control groups of plants.Both the thermophilic bacteria occurrence in soil samples and their growth on individual hydrocarbonic substrates were confirmed. The introduction into oil-polluted soil of oil-oxidizing thermophilic bacteria of K6 strain (Aeribacillus gen.) facilitated plant survival, growth and development. The growth-stimulating effect to plants of P6-1 strain (Parageobacillus gen.) introduction into soil was found to be significantly weaker. The conclusions about the thermophilic oil-oxidizing bacteria involvement to the oil destruction, occurring under contrasting climatic conditions are made, and the possibility of using of K6 strain prokaryotes for the development of biopreparations aimed to the polluted soils remediation and purification is noted. |
