Popis: Global temperature increases and accompanying decreases in polar glaciers during the past century are raising great concerns regarding the impact of global warming on climate and biology. These changes are profoundly influencing microbes, which play a central role in global cycling of key greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane. In response to those changing gas levels, microbes will likely exert further effects on climate.
