Popis: | Slow wave structures concept is used to mitigate near-end crosstalk by adjusting electrical length (phase velocity) of microstrip line. Proposed microstrip line configuration consists of periodic shunt capacitive stubs, which affect the phase constant and characteristic impedance of the line. Designed low-crosstalk microstrip line is simulated and feather fabricated. Near-end crosstalk reduction around 15 dB is achieved by means of slow wave technique. Measurement results are in good agreement with simulations. Proposed microstrip line shows promising technique in high-density printed circuit boards. |
