Popis:	The corrosion of low-carbon steels in natural deep-well water of Moldova and in a number of process environments is studied. Peculiarities of the corrosion process in the model solutions depending on the chemical composition, total salt content, total and carbonate hardness, and other parameters of aqueous environments are found.
