Popis: The applications of sensors are increasing in modern smart society environment in the form of an IoT device. The sensors are in a form of a wireless networking environment, hence the basic requirement of consumption minimum energy and maximum network lifetime has become the most challenging factors among the researchers. The sensors nodes are limited power devices to sense the environment data or the data from some objects come in two basic forms of normal sensor nodes to collect or sense the data and in the form of a sink node to collect or gather the data from the sensor nodes and send it to the base station. The no of sensors is comparatively higher than the no of sink nodes. Hence placing the sink nodes in the network domain is also depends upon a strategic algorithmic approach to achieve a maximum throughput from the network. There are several different approaches are available to place such sink nodes. In this paper, a probabilistic approach has been implemented. The work is to distribute the sink nodes based on a probability density function based on the different probable area the and simulated to measure the parameters and the later phase of this work brings a comparative study with existing sink placement strategies.
