The objective of this scoping review is to identify and synthesize the hypotheses highlighted in the current literature in regards to the mechanisms by which a manual therapy to the spine (spinal manipulation or mobilization) could cause an adverse event. The results from this review will help guide future investigations on the biological plausibility of manual therapy-related adverse events. |
