Popis: Since 1959, Rwanda has experienced interethnic wars and massacres, which reached a climax with the genocide committed against the Tutsi in 1994. In my previous research, I have tried to understand this phenomenon by analyzing the available books and textbooks on the history of Rwanda (Mutabazi, 2010, 2011a, 2011b, 2013 and 2020). The aim of this contribution is not to present the results of our previous studies, but to explain the methods used to produce research in a sensitive context such as after a genocide. This contribution also shows how much the identity of a researcher can influence his methodological choice of research.
