Popis: | Infrared spectra of various mixtures of isotopically substituted boron trifluorides are presented. The samples were studied in the solid state at 83°K, and in the spectral range covering all fundamental vibrations.Multiplet structures and shapes of the absorption bands show that the crystal structure is not isomorphous with that of boron trichloride and tribromide, and that rather strong intermolecular coupling of vibrations prevails. |
