Popis: Health is one of the key components of our lives. Information systems play a role in many life situations. Life situations comprise normal living, where prevention and wellness are related to health, to emergencies, acute diseases, chronic diseases, care, and rehabilitation. Different stakeholders may have specific requirements regarding health information systems. Such stakeholders comprise patients, healthcare professionals, informal caregivers, biomedical researchers, and management staff in healthcare facilities, insurance companies, governmental bodies, and sponsors. Their requirements of health information systems are sometimes similar and therefore coincide. Other times, however, they tend to conflict and may even become contradictory. To appropriately manage health information systems in the current era of digitization, it is important to be aware of these life situations and stakeholder requirements.
