Popis: | A finite element technique is utilized to compute both the periodic steady state and the transient state heat transmission through single layered or multilayered building roofs or walls due to solar radiation for any location in the United States. The solar radiation, temperature distribution in the materials and heat transmission through the multilayers have been compared with other methods of computation and with field results. Good agreements are observed. All the computation are carried out in such a way as to require limited input data. |
