Popis:	This paper presents a review of the research carried out over the past three decades in the area of self-clocked asynchronous sequential circuits, and provides an extensive list of the published materials in this field. It points out the shortcomings of the earlier methods and directs attention to new design techniques more suitable for implementation using standard components as well as in semi-custom or VLSI technology.
