Popis:	The Haemonetics model 30 cell separator was used for erythrocytapheresis in an adult suffering from tetralogy of Fallot complicated by severe erythrocytosis and coagulopathy. Over a two-week period, the hematocrit was reduced from 81% to 39% after three erythrocytapheresis procedures. Abnormal coagulation was also corrected. The patient uneventfully underwent total surgical correction, during which his blood loss was minimal and his recovery surprisingly smooth.
